5 Acts That Will Close The Curtains On Any Chance Of Getting Your Ex Back

1. Do not let your emotions overwhelm you and act on panic. You have to stay calm, be rational, and have a well thought out plan before you have any interaction with your ex. Being all strung out is not going to solve anything and it will not attract or win your ex back, when they see you as a basket case. Actions due to these emotions, that are based on fear, are often self defeating and will have the opposite effect of what you intend most times. This is a very difficult and painful time for you, but you have to get your head on straight to have any hope of turning it around.

2. Constantly calling, texting, or emailing your ex right after your breakup may seem like a good idea, but it is not. I know you are worried and scared. You are trying to fix it quickly, but this is truly not going to help at all. They will see you as desperate and obsessive. You DO NOT want them to see you that way...period. Do not try to contact them, let things cool off for a bit. Just chill. Keep yourself busy with friends and other projects. Whatever it takes.

3. Don't badmouth your ex to other people. If you want them back, you could blow all your chances this way. Rest assured it will get back to them some how. It is a small world when we spout things out in anger to other people. You would not believe how fast something you said could come back around to kick you in the butt later, by your ex catching wind of the things you said in anger.

4. Avoid arguing about the break up. This will only make it worse. You are still going to be broke up and they could begin to think it is the best choice after all. If you argue against the breakup or plead in any way, then a whole other can of worms are opened. They may see you as needy, clingy, or desperate and for most people, those attributes are a total turn-off.

5. Don't let yourself go because of the breakup. Keep yourself looking good and kept up, because remember you are trying to win them back, so you still want to attract them, just as you did when you first met.
